About Me

I’m Drew Speranza and I’ve spent the last 12 years working in Customer Success and Operations leadership roles at early and mid stage startups.  I’ve overseen and grown CS teams at two different tech startups on their way to eventual acquisitions.  I focus on improving processes so teams can focus on revenue generating activities.  I work with growing CS teams to implement clear customer journeys with a track record of growth and retention.

My Philosophy

Early and mid-stage startups often struggle with financial constraints that make hiring full-time, high-level Client Success and Operations professionals impractical. That doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of that expertise.

You probably have the right people to effectively implement things like a new customer journey or retention strategy.  You probably don’t have people with the experience to develop those things.  Bringing someone in on a consulting basis allows you to build out proven processes and hand them off to your team to implement without making a costly commitment.

Bringing in senior talent too early often leads to a gap between your team on the ground and the expensive new exec who doesn’t understand the business.  Working with someone on a temporary basis gives you the chance to not only solve your current business challenges but also to empower your future homegrown leaders.
